Pastor of Pisgah

Rev. Patrick Carrin began serving as Pastor of Pisgah Methodist Church in April 2025. A Tallahassee native, Patrick is a graduate of North Florida Christian School (Class of ’77) and holds a B.S. in Business
from Florida State University. He later earned his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, where he was honored with the Clyde Francisco Preaching Scholarship.

Patrick brings a deep love for Scripture and a passion for preaching, shaped by decades of ministry. He was the founding pastor of Celebration Community Church in Celebration, Florida, where he served from its beginning in 1996 through 2005.

In addition to his pastoral ministry, Patrick has worked in business leadership and innovation, including holding several patents from his time as a Product Manager in New Business Development.

He and his wife, Lisa, share five grown children and one beloved granddaughter. Outside the pulpit, Patrick enjoys fishing, hiking, ballroom dancing with Lisa, playing piano, and singing-but nothing brings him greater joy than studying and sharing God’s Word .

Children’s Ministry Director

Myretta Dixon was born and raised in the Tallahassee area and began to serve as the Children’s Director in late November 2022. She has a deep love for children and sharing the Word of God with them. She also enjoys worshiping our Lord through music. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Baptist College of Florida in 2025. She desires that each child know the Lord and looks forward to each one coming on Sundays. She and her family worship together at Pisgah and can’t wait to share the love of the Pisgah Family with you.

Director of Music

Gabriel de Freitas Silva is a Brazilian pianist from São Paulo. He began his formal musical training at the Escola Municipal de Música de São Paulo, completing its six-year program in 2017, and later earned his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp) in 2020. In 2023, he completed his Master of Music degree at the Cleveland Institute of Music.

Gabriel has been actively involved in choral music throughout his career, serving as pianist for the Unesp Chamber Choir, the Vocal Group Prisma Brasil, and the Case Western Reserve University Concert Choir. These experiences have shaped his collaborative approach and strengthened his passion for supporting ensemble music in worship and performance settings.

He is currently a second-year Ph.D. student in Piano Pedagogy at Florida State University and serves as a Class Piano Instructor. Alongside his academic work, Gabriel enjoys performing, collaborating with singers and instrumentalists, and contributing to music-making in the church community.

Worship Leader

Gabriella Medeiros Dias is a second-year master’s student in Piano Pedagogy and Performance at Florida State University. She began her musical studies as a child in Brazil, inspired by her father and a family deeply rooted in music.

Gabriella has had a passion for teaching since her teenage years, assisting her father in community music projects for children. She has also been involved with church choirs in Brazil, both as a pianist and a singer. For eight years, she served as a worship leader and conductor of the teen choir at her local church.

In addition to her studies, Gabriella teaches piano and runs an online studio with students from around the world. She has participated in the “Music in the Churches of the USA” festival at Lebanon Valley College (PA) in 2020, 2023, and 2024, gaining experience in church piano playing, choral singing, organ, and sacred liturgy.

Her mission is to praise the Lord through her music and to be an instrument for touching people’s lives through it.
